Haley & David – Greenville, SC Engagement Session

Sometimes I like to think outside the box when it comes to my engagement sessions so when Haley and David left it up to me for their location, I was thrilled.  I always try to capture the spirit and character of my couples.  Simply put, posing couples in unnatural poses is just not my style.  Sometimes when I suggest an idea I get funny looks but when they get their pictures back, they know what I was after creatively.  After driving around town I knew that I wanted to branch out and find a new location.  I shot a commercial clothing line for and ad several years ago at a laundry mat and it turned out great.  The commercial, vintage feel of the washers give such a classic look to the final prints so  I decided to shoot an engagement session there.  It took about 1 minute for everyone there to figure out we were crazy but we had a blast.  Haley and David were great and who doesn’t have fun being pushed at a high rate of speed in a laundry cart?  We wrapped up their session by spending some time at one of their favorite ice cream shops, Blue Berry Frog.  They told me that they love to stop in there once a week and pick up a treat so I thought it would make for some great pictures.  Thanks again guys for being such great sports!
